Auto Recycling
This cancellation process, corresponding to Article 13(1) of the Automobile Registration Act, is conducted
when there are no other stakeholders like mortgages or seizures on the vehicle,
and the car owner applies for cancellation registration at the city or county office.
This process can only be conducted through a formally registered business (automobile recycling business) under Article 53 of the Automobile Management Act.
The cancellation procedure is as follows:
Request for scrap

Vehicle records check
→
Towing / inbound
→
Payment for the scrapped vehicle
→
Cancellation on behalf
→
Cancellation completion
